Members of Unincorporated Associations should expect to have to compensate parties injured by actions of that association, to their last dollar if necessary.
The law allows most non-profit organisations to incorporate. This gives the advantage of members not being required to fund personally liabilities of the organisation. There is no justification for any non-profit organisation not being incorporated.
